We are an animal rescue and healing space located in Petaluma, California, a place to relax, create, rejuvenate, and experience immense joy side by side with the animals.
Our mission is not only to save lives but also to provide a sanctuary where both animals and people can thrive. At Roxy's Ranch Haven, visitors can come to bond with the animals, find peace, and engage in personal growth, healing, and creativity in a nurturing environment. It’s a safe space for individuals to reconnect with themselves while helping animals in need. As a dedicated dog rescue, we focus especially on saving dogs on the red list, those at risk and giving them a second chance at life, love, and a forever home.
We also welcome dog rescue donations to support our mission of rescuing. By contributing, you help us continue creating a space where healing flows both ways.
Since childhood, I’ve dreamed of having a ranch, inspired by my first farm camp experience at age six. Nearly 50 years later, that dream became a reality. During a difficult time in my life, I pursued my goal of owning animals. With guidance from my friend Scott and trainer Tricia Yates, I found Nugget, a beautiful Palomino Paint Quarter Horse, who changed my life in ways I never imagined. His love and intuition brought healing, and soon, I knew I wanted him home with me. I built my small ranch into a haven for animals, now home to over 80 animals, including horses, dogs, chickens, pigs, and more. My mission is to share this joy and the profound connection animals offer.
Not everyone has access to this kind of experience, and I want to open my home to those who can benefit from the magic of being around animals.
